About TEXEL Energy
TEXEL Energy is a Swedish advanced energy
infrastructure company delivering modular, grid-independent power platforms for
next-generation AI data centers.
As artificial intelligence accelerates electricity
demand, energy availability — not compute — has become the primary
constraint to AI infrastructure growth. Leading technology companies
are now moving to secure independent energy supply to power the next wave of AI
development.
TEXEL addresses this challenge with a new
waste-to-AI energy platform that converts flare gas and waste heat
into dispatchable, off-grid electricity directly co-located with AI
infrastructure.
Unlike conventional solutions based on turbines,
diesel generators, or combustion engines, TEXEL’s proprietary patented
heat-to-power technology produces stable electricity without gas treatment and
without reliance on existing grid capacity.
The company’s platform represents more than $2
billion in accumulated research, development, and acquired intellectual
property value and has been industrialized into a scalable
infrastructure system engineered for continuous operation.
Commercial TEXEL systems are operating in
Europe today, producing energy for AI
workloads around the clock.
TEXEL does not supply GPUs or servers.
Instead, the company delivers the complete
energy layer required for AI deployment — including heat capture,
energy conversion, control systems, power conditioning, and integration with
high-density liquid-cooled compute environments.
The modular architecture begins at 250 kW per
unit and scales linearly to 100 MW clusters, enabling resilient off-grid AI
infrastructure without burdening existing power grids.
The next phase is scaled deployment and
industrial production in the United States.
In parallel, TEXEL continues to advance
large-scale energy storage technologies to strengthen long-term grid resilience
and global energy security.
Global Cooperation
TEXEL Energy was founded in Sweden and operates on a foundation of international collaboration across Europe, the United States, and Australia. Delivering advanced energy infrastructure at scale requires cooperation with leading research institutions, industrial partners, and technology developers.
Strategic Acquisitions and Collaborations
TEXEL’s technology platform has been strengthened through targeted acquisitions and exclusive collaborations with globally recognized institutions and laboratories.
Over time, the company has secured exclusive licenses and integrated key technology assets originating from collaborations with U.S. national laboratories and leading international research institutions. These partnerships have contributed to the refinement and industrialization of TEXEL’s proprietary heat-to-power and energy storage platforms.
TEXEL has also acquired selected technology components and intellectual property from publicly listed companies, further consolidating its industrial capabilities and reinforcing its market position.
Collectively, the patents, know-how, exclusive licenses, engineering work, and acquired assets integrated into the platform represent an accumulated development value estimated to exceed USD 2 billion. This consolidated technology base provides significant entry barriers and supports scalable commercial deployment.
Company Structure
Over the years, TEXEL has built a legal structure with corporate entities in Sweden, the UK, and the USA, designed to provide the optimal conditions for achieving the company’s objectives in R&D collaborations, financing, industrialization, and commercialization.
